The weather looks to be a bit cold for meeting outdoors in the parking lot this Sunday, Sept. 20th, so we will likely be meeting in the sanctuary unless there is a reasonable change in the forecast. Please note: We have moved our Service hour forward to 10:00 a.m. We have also begun our new Discipleship class in the building at 9:00 a.m. prior to the morning Service, so please join the class! I'm sure that it will be very meaningful time for you.
We respectfully ask for your continued compliance with the CDC and social distancing 6 ft. guidelines. When indoors, the sanctuary is set up to accommodate the guidelines, yet families of the same household may of course sit together. We ask that you would wear a mask as is typically required in other settings. When indoors, a Children's class is available during the Service hour. Though as individuals, we may not have concerns about the virus, others near us may feel differently, and so we wish to honor those concerns in a Christ-like manner.
We will not be offering food nor beverages at this time, and we are taking other sanitary measures. We anticipate a shortened Service hour while inside with a bit less singing for now. We are also asking that you would not remain in the building following the Service, but rather you can continue your conversations with others outside. If you choose not to attend, the messages will be posted on-line (Website and Facebook) within a day or two following the Service. We would also ask if you are not feeling well to, of course, remain at home and get well!
These decisions are made with respect to honoring and caring for one another, and we are asking for compliance with these guidelines. Generally, many churches are making similar decisions to help protect their congregants. We'd rather be a bit cautious than too careless. Hopefully, as the weeks go forward, we will be able to get back to things a bit more normally. Thanks for your understanding. May God bless you!
